Final Mission Thoughts

I recently received an email from my dad who gave me an invitation to read Alma 26 about Ammon describing his story and his experience as a missionary, and then to write my own mission story down. I decided this would be a great experience and I know my ideas may be a little out of place in some moments and that I might forget some details, but I hope and pray my writing will capture and portray a small portion of the joys and challenges of my full time missionary service. I hope this will bless my future self and all who read this story. All things contained here are true experiences and moments that helped to shape the course of my young life up to this point. He's Home!

There is nothing quite like that first hug in 2 years. It is something you have to experience to completely understand. I missed this boy so much. Even though I got to video call with him weekly, there is nothing like being together, in person. Stockton's welcome home looked a lot different than we anticipated when he left. Covid restrictions kept us from going inside the airport, we all wore masks and we didn't invite extended family. But it didn't take the joy out of the moment we finally got to be with him! It's a mom's (and a girlfriend's) dream come true. ♥️ We didn't get the best pictures because we were more concerned with video. And, Mason was on picture duty.
