Service and Miracles

This week was a really great one! We had lots going on and it really made the time go by quickly, and we enjoyed each day a lot so it was fantastic.

This week we were able to do 2 service projects. The first one was for an older lady in the ward. She had some things in the attic that needed to be brought down so we helped with that, and then she wanted some help in the garden as well, so we put in a good few hours of yard work. The best part is she took us out to Nandos for lunch so that was dreamy! You don't do service with the expectation for a reward but you can't complain when you do get something like that!

Our second service project was to help this Arabic lady, who a few of the ward members knew, she was moving houses and had a LOT of stuff that needed to be moved. We were there doing much of the heavy lifting and it was a grand old time. I love being able to do service and help people out, I get so much joy and satisfaction out of helping care for the needs of others!

In other news, we finally got a new washing machine this week as well. Hooray for easily cleaned clothes again!! Honestly that was one of the things I was most grateful for this week was being able to wash all my things without taking it somewhere else.

We also had a ton of meal appointments this week at members houses. This ward is amazing and I love being in this area. Not only that, but one of the friends that we have been working with for a long time finally committed to baptism!!! That was another absolute miracle from this week. We had the feeling to invite one specific member to the lesson and she ended up being the perfect member. The lesson was beautiful and I really felt the spirit, along with lots of gratitude!

I don't feel like I have much else to share but just know that this was a really fantastic week! I hope everyone is safe and happy, focus on finding joy in the little things and you will be a lot happier! Talk to y'all next week!
