Most Fantastic Week Ever!

My oh my this week has been one of the most fantastic weeks ever! I can't even begin to express how much fun, happiness, and joy that I felt this week. I'm just gonna talk about some of the things that made it so good. 

So it all started out on Tuesday, we had a lesson with our friend who we have been teaching for a while and she told us she was ready to be baptised on the 26th!!! 😆 Man we were so excited when she told us about that and another cool thing as well was that we've been teaching her online for about 3.5 months now and Saturday this week was the first time we were able to meet in person. If it weren't for the lockdown we've had as a mission and using social media, we never would have met her, but God's ways are higher than our ways and he prepared everything perfectly. I'm so excited for her baptism.

This week we also were able to do LOADS of service! We had a service project on 3 different days this week, a little bit of yard work, landscaping, and painting! All loads of fun. It was so nice to keep ourselves busy and we also had a great time while doing it so it's a win win honestly.

Another thing that happened this week was that we were able to have an in person mini zone conference/interviews. So it was just a meeting with our zone and then President and Sister Checketts with the AP's and the traveling STL's, we met at our stake center and had a meeting along with interviews with President and Sister Checketts. That was on Friday and took up basically the whole day and it was awesome to be together as a zone in person!

We also had lots of dinner appointments this week and spent plenty of time with the great members of this ward. There's literally so many amazing members I can't even say it enough how much I love being in this place. 

That's everything from me, now it's on to the final week of my mission, we have some baptisms to look forward to this weekend and a whole lot of stuff in between, it should be great I'm excited to go hard and finish off on a high! He's Home!

There is nothing quite like that first hug in 2 years.  It is something you have to experience to completely understand.  I missed this boy so much.  Even though I got to video call with him weekly, there is nothing like being together, in person. Stockton's welcome home looked a lot different than we anticipated when he left.  Covid restrictions kept us from going inside the airport, we all wore masks and we didn't invite extended family.  But it didn't take the joy out of the moment we finally got to be with him!  It's a mom's (and a girlfriend's) dream come true. ♥️ We didn't get the best pictures because we were more concerned with video.  And, Mason was on picture duty.  He is still learning about angles and capturing that perfect moment!
