Well well well, looks like it's time for my weekly update again, I can't believe how fast everything is going right now haha it's nuts. I am honestly just lost for words so I'm just going to tell you about my week.
Our last P day was loads of fun we went into London to pick up some packages for my companion and then we went to a really big shopping mall called Westfield. We spent a couple hours in there just going around checking out stores and having a blast!
Tuesday we did our tunes and testimony Facebook live event, and we also had a dinner appointment with a family from California. Dinner appointments with this family are the best because we always have good food and get to play some basketball together, so we had lots of fun playing some ball and man I just can not wait to get home and play more basketball! I've missed it so much.
Wednesday and Thursday weren't extremely busy except for on Thursday we had someone come into our flat to try and fix our washing machine and they were not able to fix it, so that means they have to order us a new one which means another week without a washer 😬 It's supposed to be coming here on Thursday this week so let's hope all goes well so we can clean our own clothes haha!
Friday was a great day because we had a meeting in Hyde Park with my companion for all the newer missionaries in our mission. We actually were able to meet in person so it was fantastic to be around other missionaries and also to be in the Hyde Park Chapel, man I just love that building! Also I saw some of my former companions Elder Grimaldi and Elder Jenkins so you better believe I gave them a big hug (even though I don't think we are supposed to.) Man I love those Elders and sure have missed them!
Nothing super exciting from Saturday and Sunday either, however our ward actually went back to church this week. So we tagged along and I was finally able to attend church for the first time in 6 months! It's crazy how long it had been but it was fantastic to actually be gathered for a sacrament meeting as a small portion of the ward. It was a great service and I'm thankful to have that opportunity.
We also had some super spirit filled lessons this week that I was just like yo this is the best! Teaching gospel truths and sharing my testimony of them is the greatest experience I could have asked for. There are some amazing people here in England and I am truly humbled to have the chance to play a small part in some of their lives. Time might be winding down but my gratitude is for sure going up! There are so so sooo many good things that we have in our lives, and I know that every good thing comes from God, so we are BLESSED! I hope you all recognize that as well. Anyways that's all from me, have a great week everyone, love you all!
