Last Transfer

Here we go, into the final transfer of my mission. Sunday we got our transfer calls in the morning and the great news is that Elder O'Brien and I are both staying here! I'm so happy that I'll be able to spend my last 6 weeks in this area, it's such a lovely place.

The heat from last week carried over into this week, from Monday through Friday it was just like straight death. But we survived it! Luckily we had our car so there were a few times where we went out to chill in the car because it was just too dang hot inside the flat. We had the air conditioning running in the car and it felt much better haha.

Chilling in the car because it has air conditioning.

So on Tuesday this week we had a lunch appointment and a dinner appointment, and we also did a Facebook live with some tunes and testimonies just the 2 of us and that was pretty fun. And Wednesday we were able to have district council in person again. It's been really nice actually being able to see some other missionaries in person. Things are getting much better here. 👌🏼

I think we managed to have 5 dinner appointments this week, the members here are super great and it's been so wonderful these past few weeks actually being able to travel around and meet more of them. I'm really glad that I can close out my mission in this area with this great ward.

This Sunday was a busy one but it was also really good. We had a little sacrament meeting with the Sisters in our district and also loads of other calls and meetings as Sunday usually is full of many appointments so it makes things go by just so quickly!

Sorry it wasn't the most eventful week to share about haha just finishing up the transfer and now it's on to a new one. 6 more weeks to make it count and finish strong, I'm grateful for this opportunity to be here and I am especially grateful that I have been given the chance to finish my mission without being sent home due to the virus. There's so much to be thankful for! I hope you all have a great week and take care of yourselves physically and spiritually. I'm doing great here!

Love y'all
