Day 124 of Quarantine
Not much of an update from me this week. It was a pretty average and typical week as a missionary in quarantine. As of today we are now on day 124 of our quarantine so it's pretty fun to just watch that number keep going up 😂
We did have zone conference over a zoom call this week which was pretty decent, besides the fact that a 7-8 hour video call just kills me! It's too long to just be sitting in the same place looking at a screen my goodness. But one cool thing about zone conference is the fact that Brad Wilcox joined us in the afternoon and gave a great training about improving our studies, as well as talking to us a bit more about grace which was pretty great!
Another bonus from this week was that we were able to have 3 DA's with members and we have a couple lined up for next week so things are looking pretty solid. The best part of the week was definitely Friday. Today we had a lunch appointment and a dinner appointment, and at our dinner appointment we played some basketball for about an hour and oh my goodness I just love playing basketball, hands down greatest sport of all time! Factoring in the bike rides to and fro, playing basketball, and our morning exercise we had roughly 3 hours of exercise on Friday and I gotta tell ya it felt sooo good! I wish I could spend more time outside because man I just love being active.
In other words, we had a great lesson this week as well with one of our friends who's preparing to be baptised. She wanted us to go through the baptismal interview questions so that was pretty cool, and as we were talking about prophets I was bearing my testimony about President Nelson and as I testified I was overcome with the Holy Ghost. It was a great experience and I usually don't cry during lessons but this time it was just too powerful. I shed a couple tears and continued on with the lesson haha. I love the fact that we get to share these things with others. I know that we have a prophet on the Earth today and I'm so grateful for this blessing and the knowledge of it. God is so great!
That's everything from me this week. I'm healthy and I'm happy, not much more you could ask for! Love y'all.
