Week 7 of Mission Quarantine
Week 7 as a quarantined missionary has been completed. It's strange how it's nearly been 2 months now, especially because if I try to look back on the time everything is just like a blur and I can't really remember any specifics about everything. Kinda just living the same day over and over, but we are still blessed and I don't have much to complain about.
Tuesday (April 28): It was a solid day. The highlight was for sure when we were able to spend time outside going for a run in the rain. It was just like a light sprinkle and cloudy but it was super cool! We had so much fun haha, and we also got some cool pictures. We also did our best at online Proselyting and contacting. For dinner we made pasta with chicken. Then had our usual nightly mission call, and closed out the day.
Wednesday: Another day on the online grind and the workout grind haha. If y'all remember last week we set our 4 miles run record at about 34 mins. Well, today we challenged that, and we managed to finish up with a nice time of 32 mins and 38 seconds. Haha we literally could not feel our legs afterward but it was such a nice feeling. We'll see how quick of a time we can get before the isolation is finished. But we were definitely proud of that. Again, we just did more finding, and contacting online until it was time for the nightly mission call.
Thursday: Today we had our online zone conference. So that went from 10am until about 5pm, with a small break for lunch in between. Long meetings over video call leave me with such a headache wow! But it was pretty good. I took advantage of the time to be super productive around the house as well while I listened haha. So I did all my laundry, washed my sheets, and all our towels. Not only that but I cleaned up the kitchen and vacuumed and swept the floor haha. It kept me doing something and cleaning is always great! So the zone conference took a big chunk of the day, but when it finished up we headed out for our usual run and it was in the rain again. Then we got back and got showered up, had dinner, and reached out to a few people, then the day was finished up.
Friday & Saturday: I'm combining these 2 days again because much like all the other days it's pretty much the same haha. We had some good studies today as well as our exercise and online finding. I don't really have anything else to talk about honestly haha.
Sunday: Today was a pretty calm Sunday. We didn't really have any church services with anyone else. Just our own, and we also went for a nice Sunday walk just to explore more around the around and see some cool places. Then in the evening time we watched our Why I Believe Devotional which is just a devotional of recent converts sharing their conversion stories which was really really good. We definitely enjoyed watching that. Then afterward we just had the rest of the evening to relax a bit and prepare for a new week.
Hope y'all enjoyed and had a good week! Like usual, I would appreciate just a simple email from anyone who's reading this and wants to help make a quarantined missionary a bit happier! That's all from me though, I'll update you all next week.
