Indefinite Isolation

Well this week was a wild one to be 100% honest. There is no point in writing up about each individual day because on Wednesday afternoon we had a mission wide call where we found out it was time to start an indefinite isolation. So basically from Wednesday onward up until this point we have been asked to stay in our flat as much as possible and to avoid contact with anyone else besides missionaries. So I'm just going to write a general and basic email about the week because almost every day was the exact same with the same routine. We are blessed to be able to have more time to study and more time for exercise each day, we get an extra 1.5 hours of exercise per day. Also the members in our ward have really taken care of us and they are always making sure we have food provided, they are making meals, and buying us groceries. We have definitely been blessed in these wild situations with many things to be positive about.

For the most part we have woken up every day, went out for a nice run for 30 mins, then prepared for our day, began a few studies, spent a little bit of time doing online proselyting, and then having lunch. Then after lunch we would do a little bit of online proselyting again, before heading over to another area in our district to pick up those Elders, and then we would play basketball and football for a solid hour and half. That extra exercise had been so much fun! Then we would travel home and have dinner, do more studies, and unwind for the night. We did spend one day this week traveling around the zone and dropping off the mail to each companionship in the zone and that was wild spending so much time driving. That was basically our day every day this week.

To summarize we have played a lot of card games, tried to toss ping pong balls in Pringles cans, and been eating free food from incredible members. It can get a little bit boring at times but I know this is God's plan for us, sometimes we just have to focus on the things that we have rather than the things we don't have. And I know we still receive many tender mercies every single day. I love you all and am super grateful for the support. I pray that everyone remains healthy and happy, and enjoys having plenty of time with family. It's a great blessing. Love y'all!!
