Completely Knackered
So yeah we had P day last Thursday so this week was a short one. But here's the 3 work days from my week haha:
Friday (Dec 27): In the morning we traveled to the chapel to do our weekly planning, and after we finished up with that we went to teach a lesson to a cool referral that we received from the Visitors Centre in Hawaii. The lesson was pretty decent, and afterward we spent a few hours doing service for one of the members in the ward that needed help rearranging some furniture and closets. It took up quite a bit of time but we were still able to go and do some street contacting and talked to a lot of cool people, including a drunk 18 year old who said we were the coolest Mormons he had ever seen haha. But after street contacting it was time to get home and we sprinted to make it home on time and we barely made it so that was pretty awesome.
Saturday: Today was a really busy day and I feel like we did a little bit of everything, by the end of the day I was just completely knackered, I was so tired! But in the morning we traveled to Hyde Park for a district meeting in the zone, after which we grabbed some lunch to eat while on the train back. We then spent a few hours doing some street contacting, and then did a little bit of ministering to the companionships in the zone. By the time we finished that we went to help a family in the ward move houses and then we just came back to do more street contacting. Twas a busy day but it was definitely a good one.
Sunday: It was a good Sunday and an entertaining Sunday school haha. We spent the 5th Sunday talking about Titihing and the ward spent a solid 30 minutes just arguing about whether or not you should pay tithing on the net income or the gross income, haha it was definitely funny. Thankfully a member of the Stake Presidency was there and he just said that it doesn't matter which one you choose, as long as you're paying 10 percent on one of them. It was getting pretty heated. Then after church we spent a couple hours stopping by returning members and doing finding by the way, and somehow I managed to bump into 2 friends from church way back in Maidstone, it was crazy the fact that I saw them because we were just on a little side road, so that was awesome. And after we spent that time we went to the Brazilian member's home for a solid DA. Then after that we had to go back to the church to work on some MLC Prep and come up with a new plan for our zone for the month of January. It was a busy day but it was a good one.
I'm looking forward to the New Year and the fact that it's going to be 2020, the year I come home from my mission, oh man that is the craziest thought ever, but I hope everyone had a great 2019 and that they have some wonderful goals to improve themselves both physically and spiritually in the new year. Love you all, you are all awesome!
