Chicken Soup for a Nasty Cough
This week was a bit rough. As I mentioned last week I got a bit sick towards the end of the week and I have just had a nasty cough all week it's made it a bit challenging at times, but hey that's alright, the work moves on!
Tuesday (Sept 10): Today was pretty wild. We had district meeting in the morning, and then exchange with the zone leaders the rest of the day. So I spent the day in Lea Valley with Elder Hatch and pretty much just spent the whole day doing finding on the street. Around 2 I had a baptismal interview to do for the sisters in my district and then after that we spent until about 6pm street contacting. Thankfully we had a DA that night so we went to that and it was pretty yummy so it was a good way to finish the day.
Wednesdy: I was able to get back together with Elder Ramsey again after our exchange, and we headed straight to a first lesson that we had with this lady who seemed pretty interested. After that happened we got some lunch and then went to have a lesson with our recent convert Zane. That was great as always, and then we met with the Spanish lady in our ward who wanted to take us out for Chinese food again! So that was great, unfortunately, we weren't able to communicate much but we did our best 😂 Afterwards we just came home to do our studies and make phone calls to people in the area book.
Thursday: In the morning we spent our time studying, as well as organizing a member list that we were given from the ward clerk because the ward wants us to try and go stop by all the less actives in the ward. So we did those in the morning, then we went out and did some finding at the Stratford Station before we were supposed to have a lesson but that ended up getting canceled. So we did some more stopping by returning members for the rest of our evening before going to a dinner appointment that we had with the BYU couple and that was a great way to end the night.
Friday: In this morning we had a lesson with some returning members from Russia so that was cool. Then we headed home to eat lunch and do our studies, and headed to another lesson with a guy that we found. Then straight from that lesson we traveled to yet another one with some returning members. The best thing was that we were able to go out for dinner tonight to a place called Nandos.
We had enough money saved up and Elder Ramsey had never been so I wanted to get some with him because it's a really good chicken place that isn't crazy expensive. So we were able to close out our night with some super super good food! Wow it was definitely delicious!
Saturday: Well this morning we did area book phone calls for an hour, and then our studies. We got McDonald's for lunch and then taught a lesson there in McDonald's as well. After that we headed over to the Spanish lady's house because she cooked some chicken soup for me since I've been sick all week so we went to visit her and pick that up. After we dropped it off at home, we spent the rest of the night trying to stop by returning members again. We really made that a big focus this week. And that was pretty much our day.
Sunday: Church was alright today, none of our friends came which was a little bit of a bummer but it's cool. After church we came home to do studies and weekly planning before going back to the chapel because Zane had a temple recommend interview with bishop and we wanted to be there to help set up an lds.orgaccount too. So that was fun and then we just had some pasta carbonara for dinner and called it a week!
That's all from me this week, next week we have transfers and I will most likely get moved, but let's see what happens and I'll talk to you all next week.

We spent today checking out some things in London and it was really fun!
