I Fell Asleep in Church
Let's just get straight into it!
Tuesday (April 23): We had district meeting today in Hastings. So we drove down there in the morning. It was great I always enjoy district meeting, plus we got some lunch afterward and by the time both of those were done it was about 1:30. And in the time it took us to drive to Maidstone it was 2:30. Did some finding and had comp study then we traveled home and we got Papa John's for dinner since we had a coupon!
Wednesday: Today was a pretty boring day. Nothing too big happened. We wanted to try and have a lesson with our most progressing investigator but she wasn't available. And we tried to stop by a few specific less actives that the relief society President asked us to stop by but they were all either not home or didn't want to talk to us. We did have a dinner appointment tonight though and it was lasagne and garlic bread with chocolate cake for dessert. Yum!
Thursday: Pretty decent day, not much to complain about. Although, we did get rained on for most of the day, but hey that's England! Today we got asked to go visit one of the older sisters in our ward who was in the hospital and give her a blessing so we were able to do that today. Also we had dinner at bishops and it was amazing because be had a box of mountain dew from America so he gave me one and even drew trees on it for Elder "Orchard" 😂
Then tonight we had correlation with our ward mission leader and then headed home.
Friday: Today was pretty great. When we got to Maidstone we picked up one of the Priests and let him tag along with us as we stopped by less active members for most of the time. It was awesome and hopefully that young man enjoyed it as well. Then we had our studies and went to the dinner appointment that we had. It was a roast dinner with Lamb. Super tasty! And tonight we headed home and had to prepare some things for a super fun stake activity that we are going to be having tomorrow with the youth!!
Saturday: We had a super cool activity today with all of the youth in the stake. They called it a mini mission. Basically they were all assigned a mission call and then they got on a flight to the MTC, got trained on how to teach one of the lessons, then went to their missions and taught that lesson to 2 different investigators. It was sweet. All of us missionaries from the stake got together to help and we got to be both MTC teachers and investigators. It was such a cool activity and I had a lot of fun.
Sunday: Dang today both me and my companion woke up super tired, which made church a bit of a drag. And I may or may not of accidentally fallen asleep for a few minutes during sacrament meeting... Haha but hey I'm proud of myself that's the first time I've done it on my mission so I've been way better than I expected. Plus it didn't help none of our friends came to church this week. Oh well, next week should definitely be better. After church we had like a lunch/dinner appointment it was in between times. But it was good, we had lasagne for the 2nd time this week, luckily I liked this one better than the first so it made it alright. It was good we got to spend some time with the family from Argentina again , they are one of my favourite families in the ward.
That's all from this week. Pretty casual week but it was still a good one. I guess I'll see you guys next week when it's May! 😮

| Two new ties that I got this week. Both of them were super cheap I only spent a total of £7 on them which is about $9 So I would say that's a cheap price for two nice ties. |

| At the beginning of the week it was actually warm enough to wear short sleeves! It was amazing. |
