Driving Lessons
I had a super great week here in Maidstone. I'm living the life and I have the best companion and a great area and now a car so honestly things could not be better!
Tuesday (March 19): We started the day out with district meeting today and that was a great time. We were gonna have lunch together afterward and we planned to cook pancakes and have ice cream but that ended being a mess haha. After that we traveled to Maidstone. By the time we got there we did our study and traveled to the DA that we had and they cooked Mexican food which was absolutely delicious! Then we got on a train and traveled home.
Wednesday: Wow such an awesome day! Today was the day that we got a car and I got to drive in England, it was such a blast. I had to drive with an instructor from the church for 3 hours but it was great. Then afterward we headed to our dinner appointment and have roast dinner and it was so good. And what made it even more great was the fact that we got to drive home afterward!
Thursday: I had a pretty good day. I got to drive into our area instead of taking the train and that was legendary. We also did a bit of finding today and did our studies we needed to. We had a dinner appointment later today at 6 and so we traveled out to that area and stopped by all the less actives that lived around there. The member who had us over for the DA was crazy haha but it made it fun.
Friday: Today was another decent day. To be honest nothing super unique happened, just spent some time on the streets of Maidstone, eatin sandwiches for lunch, and living the life. Tonight we were stopping by less active members and there was this one really really cool family that had the cutest little boy ever. He's almost 5 and his name is Bay! He was so much fun and full of energy. After them they gave us each a can of beans and we drove home haha.
Saturday: Once again it was a pretty boring day in terms of events to talk about. We were supposed to have 3 lessons today but none of them happened so that made for a great time. We decided to be a little adventurous with our lunch today and we went to this place called chopstix and it was similar to Panda Express but without the orange chicken sadly 😥 it still tasted great though and wasn't terribly expensive. All in all I had a good day today and I'm ready for a great Sunday.
Sunday: It was a really good day. Me and Elder Cavalcante both spoke and we had 3 friends come to church which was a big miracle on its own. Also we had a lunch appointment after church with the family from Argentina and had super tasty food and a fun time. We were going to teach somebody later today as well but they didn't show up, seemed to be a trend this weekend. We traveled home and ate some dinner and I had ice cream as well so honestly it was a great day.
