Trains, Service and Spaghettios

This week was super busy especially at the beginning of the week.  So it zoomed by super quick.  Honestly the only bad thing about this week is the fact I've been pretty sick.

Tuesday (Jan 8): Wow we had to wake up at 5 this morning to get ready to leave our flat and get to our stake centre for a zone meeting we had. No zone conference but just a meeting with all the missionaries in our zone. It was a good time and I really enjoyed it but man I was tired the whole remainder of the day. We got KFC together before we all had to split up and catch a train back. When we got to Hastings we had a lesson and it went pretty well to be honest. Then we went to see Mohammed and he told us that he's moving to Reading for 2 months and then coming back so that was kinda sad. Then we finished off our day with ward counsel and it was awesome.

Wednesday: This morning we had district meeting and also our exchange with the zone leaders for this transfer was today. I went on exchange with Elder Hogg from Scotland and we had a blast. We found 3 new friends, had a great study, and also stopped by some cool members as well as taught a lesson. Woolwich is like the best place for missionary work I would love to serve there at some point. We also got some happy meals from McDonald's and got matching Pokemon toys so that was pretty sweet haha.

Thursday: We woke up this morning and had to catch a train super quickly to get home and back to our area in time for another day serving with Brother Hobbs. The train was packed until we got a little bit outside of the London area until we finally got a seat. Service was a blast as usual and then tonight we went to mutual where we played basketball. Today was seriously so much fun!

Friday: Wow I woke up this morning so sore from such a fun day yesterday. We went finding this morning and found 2 new friends. Then we had some lunch and studied a bit until we travelled to the chapel for our interview with President and Sister Checketts over Skype. But it was honestly kinda disappointing, it was only 11 minutes and it was just with Sister Checketts because President was on an important call at the time so it was still good bit I was excited to talk to President a little bit. Once we got back we did some more finding and then we just finished our studies and did our weekly planning then ate some dinner.

Saturday: We got to do some yard work service with a different member of the ward and I enjoyed it. I have seriously started to enjoy doing yard work out on my mission it's kinda funny but I like it. We also got to chop some fire wood and that's so much fun.
Me hacking at some wood
Our lunch was kinda funny we had frozen pizza, spaghettios, and fries.
The funny lunch we had
It made me chuckle but it really did taste good. Then tonight we taught a less active family and they are wild haha!

Sunday: Man today was awesome I absolutely love Sundays. The talks were really great and there was just a good spirit today so I felt wonderful. The Hobbs invited us over to their home afterwards and we had a great lunch and chatted for a little bit. We also had a little family home evening and I just love when we get invited over for that because that's something I miss a lot since being on a mission. Then tonight we had one of our members who is moving away stop by and say goodbye so we talked with him for a little bit before we went to sleep.

This week was great and I can't believe we are already half way through January it's crazy! Thank you guys for all you do you're awesome and I hope you have a great week.
